Terms of Service
The rules for using Wave2Text, buying transcription credits, and uploading audio or video files.

Acceptance
By using Wave2Text, you agree to these terms.
Service Scope
Wave2Text provides AI-assisted transcription for one uploaded media file per job. The current product scope focuses on transcript text output, not guaranteed subtitle timing formats.
Accounts
Access to the service may require a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Credits and Payments
New accounts receive 10 one-time free trial credits, enough for up to 10 started transcription minutes, unless trial access has been disabled to address abuse. Credit packs are one-time purchases through enabled payment providers; unused purchased credits do not expire. Transcription uses 1 credit per started minute, and Show Notes use 1 additional credit per started 30 minutes.
Unless stated otherwise, credits are non-refundable once consumed.
Your Content
You retain responsibility for the files you upload. You must have the right to process that material. You may not use the service to upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
Original uploads are automatically deleted after 7 days and may be deleted sooner from your workspace. Transcripts and Show Notes remain until you delete the associated transcription.
Output Quality
AI transcription is probabilistic. We do not guarantee perfect accuracy, exact wording, or subtitle-grade timing.
Availability
We may change, pause, or remove parts of the service at any time, including models, providers, pricing, limits, and workflow details.
Abuse
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, interfere with operations, or violate these terms.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, Wave2Text is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
