Audio Chat is a single-file audio and video transcription service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what happens to your uploaded media.

- payment records related to credit purchases
- uploaded audio or video files submitted for transcription
- generated transcript text and job metadata
- analytics, device, and browser information used to improve the service
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- authenticate your account
- process payments and credit balances
- store and retrieve uploaded files needed for transcription
- send files to the transcription provider so the job can run
- return transcript results inside your workspace
- monitor reliability, abuse, and product performance
Uploaded Media and Transcript Data
Uploaded files are stored in object storage so the transcription pipeline can access them. Transcript text and job metadata are stored in the application database so you can review completed jobs later.
If you upload a file, you confirm that you have the right to process that content.
Third-Party Services
Audio Chat relies on third-party services to operate, including:
- Google for sign-in
- payment processors such as Stripe or other enabled providers
- object storage such as Cloudflare R2
- transcription providers such as Replicate
These providers process only the data needed to perform their role in the workflow.
Retention
We retain account, payment, credit, and transcription records as long as needed to operate the service, maintain auditability, and support users. Uploaded files may remain in storage until they are manually or programmatically cleaned up.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand traffic, usage patterns, and product issues. These tools help us improve the service, not profile users beyond operating needs.
